I have been writing an X-men story ('Sonechka and Tea in America') on Peter (Piotr, Colossus) and Saint John (Pyro). I also write arscelareartem which is Piotr Rasputin/Colossus' LJ. I was writing a Numb3rs story before, (Soseki's Cryptomeria Grove') and will work on a Jonathan Creek story, I haven't because I hate magic ~ha--

no now I am doing a Bruce Banner/Tony Stark (Hulk/Iron Man) story.

He knew they were still in the imperial gardens, with its shimmering fishponds, decorated kiosks and pavilions. Fruit trees, date, palm and sycamore trees shaded the water. In the papyrus thickets, the ducks quacked and fought. Birds, dark patches against the night sky, fluttered over the vines to nest in the trees or perch on the statues and gold-topped arbours built in every grove.

It was cooler here though the light dazzled the vivid paintings carved on the walls so that the scenes caught the eye with their bright hues: Seth in conflict with Horus; Isis searching for Osiris' body. ... The deeper they went into the temple the darker it became; the windows, high in the wall, provided little light.

Shufoy shivered. He very rarely visited the Temple of Seth, the God of Killing. Everything was so different here from the other temples. The walls did not proclaim Pharaoh's great deeds but Seth's red-handed work. Death and the dark creatures of the Underworld prowled along every wall. The gaudy colors of other temples were missing: no gold-leafed columns or silver-edged mosaics. The main color was a dark ochre, broken here and there by splashes of bright red. ... here, torches of pitch depicted the God of Darkness around whom those grotesque creatures, the Devourers, danced to macabre music. ... 'Can I help you?'

A figure seemed to emerge from nowhere. His upper torso was uncovered, a while kilt draped the lower half of his body, he carried a ram's mask held on a stick to cover his face. ... Amerotke gazed round: this was a hideous place. Now his eyes were accustomed to the gloom, Amerotke could see the walls were decorated with scenes from the Book of the Dead, depicting the Amduat, the Underworld... Amerotke glimpsed a painting on the near wall from the Book of the Day and Night: the Devourers of the Underworld spewing flames intothe graves of sinners whilst Horus, leaning on his staff, supervised them. Beneath ran the title 'HE WHO BURNS MILLIONS!'
